Who are the friends of spindleberry

The friends of spindleberry nature reserve are a group of residents who noticed how the reserve was looking with rubbish and stuff chucked in the pond and people sleeping in there .We decided to set up a group that would clear up the area and also improve the reserve so we spoke to our local counciller and the parish councill and other friends of parks groups and with there support we got in touch with the oxford city council and got the group started.We are still in the process of getting a commitee arranged and hopefully very soon have a online zoom meeting where people can join in .We also are getting in touch with experts to help us and also wildlife groups.In the next few months we will be looking to get grants or funding to start work with the councill parks dept who will help us to get plans of wat we would like to do and provide us with insurance and rusk assenents to carry out these plans.when this has been sorted then we will be able to start our work groups up.

This can only happen if You join us this is your reserve and we dont want it to be lost by seting this group up we will have a voice if the councill trys to take it away we have support from the parish councill ,local councillers.local mp and other groups all we need is You .
